Plein Air
“in the open air”
Painting outdoors is my favorite way to work. Light influences everything we see, and it constantly shifts and reshapes a scene. Amid weather changes, curious spectators, and time pressures, I try to stay decisive in my choices as I respond to it all. By that process, each work becomes a blend of honesty to the moment and my own personal storytelling.
