I’m excited to share that I’ll be participating in Paint Under the Big Sky this June in Big Sky, Montana. Hosted by the Big Sky Artists’ Studio & Gallery and the Big Sky Artists Collective, this plein air event brings painters together to work on location and celebrate the extraordinary landscape of southwest Montana through fresh, original work.

Throughout the week, I’ll be painting outdoors in and around the Big Sky area, responding directly to the light, weather, and mountain scenery that make this landscape so compelling. I’m especially looking forward to spending focused time painting on location and sharing the finished work as part of the event’s exhibition and sale. For collectors, it’s a chance to see and purchase newly created original plein air paintings inspired by Big Sky and the Gallatin Canyon landscape.

Paint Under the Big Sky features artists painting on location during one of the busiest times of year in Big Sky, with the public invited to attend the opening reception and view the exhibition. The event highlights the area's beauty while bringing together artists, visitors, and collectors around new work created in direct response to the landscape.
