From the event website “Every other year, the Boulder County Plein Air Festival attracts top-level plein air artists from across the U.S. to Boulder and the surrounding area, where they create paintings of Boulder County’s landscapes, cityscapes, and mountain vistas over the course of one week each summer.

This year’s plein air event is dedicated to the talent of local Colorado plein air artists — many of whom are Open Studios members. Fifty talented creators will be exhibiting the work they create during the week at an opening reception at Park Coworking on June 5.
